Excellent customer service, selection, and food. This was our first visit and we were treated with such kindness and warmth. Kids were happy, we were happy, and oh so full. We stopped here while travelling and will make sure to add this to our list if we pass by again.

Tired of fast food and chain restaurant's, I started looking for a " Mom and Pop " or "Mel's" type place for a change in what was becoming routine. I notice Sherrill's. It was a small white building with limited parking. When I noticed people parking on the side walk to eat here, I knew this was what I was looking for. They offer 1/2 lb burgers and fries, specialty burgers with choice of crazy toppings, shrimp, fish, steaks and baked potatoes. Lunch was your choice of 3 meats and your choice of 3 sides from the 5 they offered. Coffee, sweet tea, juice, water and soft drinks of all kinds were available. The food was fantastic! I recommend the candied yams! Customers from all walks of life. There were bikers, preachers, old and young, vacationers, well dressed and sloppy dressed, walkers, wheelchairs and canes. It was an experience I will never forget and hope to repeat many times!!

A great place to sit, see the mountains and have a hearty breakfast. The biscuits and gravy are perfect and filling, the bacon is done right and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
